Highlights of Madrid Travel
What’s in Madrid or Spain that my family fell in love with it? They’ve been planning trips for years now. Every holiday is spent in this city. That made me plan to get to know Madrid. Every family occasion; I do not forget to browse over Madrid city guides so that I can keep up with the conversation. In fact, they were so amaze that I am so knowledgeable about the city; they were so impressed that they keep bugging me when was my last visit to Madrid. Madrid travel information and blogs were a great help.
The only thing I couldn’t describe during conversations was the inside decorations of certain Madrid Spain hotels that they stayed during their vacations and holidays. So, I decided to at last visit Madrid even for a day.
There are so Madrid attractions to fall in love in Madrid. Yet, since I only got a day and two nights in the city. I intend to visit just a few highlights in every Madrid tour. With a laugh at the back of my mind, I pack my things. I already contacted my tour guide of course, the same tour guide that thrilled and sprinkled fun in my family’s visit in Spain’s cities.
The travel to Madrid was comfortable. I was picked up from the airport by my family’s tour guide and accompanied to my hotel. After eating my first Spanish dish, it was already plan that I have to rest from the travel though it was only a few hours.
My first glimpse of Madrid sunshine was indeed colorful and bright. It was a sign of a good day spent in the capital city of Spain. My first stop is the Prado Museum, I know every piece and information about the Museum to the joy of my tour guide. We discussed every piece of historical value of Prados Museum’s. It was a very satisfying tour. An academic tour almost, I thank my tour guide for such a great time, Maria.
The next stop is the geographical center of Madrid and takes note I stood and touched it. Though I have a limited knowledge of it; Maria already supplanted every minute detail about it. I also took a picture of Madrid’s symbol- it was seen all over town.
And after these activities, we went tapa hunting with Maria. Sad to say, I stayed only for a day. Next time, I will stay longer.
