The most interesting parks in Madrid
Madrid is the capital city of Spain and every year this famous city has been rushed with millions of different races of tourists. There is so much to see and discover about Madrid and one of the interesting views to see in the city is its various captivating parks.
Indeed, Madrid is a great city full of opportunity. Both tourists and students are visiting Madrid because they wanted to experience the unusual events Madrid annually celebrating. Some of the most famous parks in Madrid include:
- The Plaza de España—this is one of the favorite parks of most of the tourists, because of its gigantic impressive monuments. It was built in the 1950’s by the dictator Franco, this contemporary designed park is a great place to spend time if you just wanted to unwind and see the other tourists passing to and fro.
- The Retiro—this is a 330 acre Parque el Retiro, the best place to relax after touring the city. The Retiro is located at the east of the Paseo del Arte which is between the Calle Alfonso XII and Avenida Menedez y Pelayo. Thousands of tourists and locales have been attracted with the park because of its awesome designed gardens. The park is not the typical park that you were thinking because the Retiro has something unique which was established for you. If you are bored of just touring around you can try boating within the park in their lake, or you can hop to their cafes or witness a concerts.
- The Botanical Gardens—this park was opened in 1781 and fully established in 1980’s. After this garden had been neglected it was then refurbished and the original plans are inaugurated. Today, this garden is the hiding place of tourists who wants to see personally its ten thousands varieties of plants came from the different parts of the world.
The three parks are the most famous parks in Madrid that you should not miss to visit. But before visiting these gardens always book for your Madrid accommodation in advance for you to have the best Madrid vacation you will ever have.
