Madrid is a huge city of Spain. Since it is appointed as the capital of Spain, expect to have lots of sightseeing to view and discover around Madrid. You cannot tour around Madrid for a day or even for two, therefore setting a time and an itinerary where to go and when in Madrid is really important. There are four suggestive places to visit in Madrid that you can include in your list of itineraries and these are:

The Reina Sofia Museum. This is one of the most famous museums to be found in Madrid. It is proud of housing some of the most significant remnants since the 20th and 21st century art. The work of Picasso—the famous Guemica is worth to see as well as the work of Dalí and Miró. The museum does not only feature amazing art collections but a superb restaurant as well. You can take a break and dine in and enjoy the excellent meal here.

The Palacio Real – Street: Bailén. This is an official residence of the Spanish Royal Family. This is a very huge and impressive building which was constructed during the 18th and the 19th centuries. Because it is wrapped with stunning façade and inner design, the fortress has become one of the most famous attractions in Madrid.

The Prado Museum. This museum is not only famous within the city of Madrid, but it is famous arts museum all over the world. The museum caters arts since the 12th to the 19th century. Today, the museum is the most visited museum in the city.

Retiro Park Plaza. This place is one of the best places to go if you want to relax your mind or you are looking for a tranquil place. It is famous during weekends when workers are free from work and wanted to spend their leisure time in the park. Historically it has been a palace garden, but recently been a famous spots for both the locales and the tourists. It features a boating lake where you can row and stunning majestic fountains.
