Bullfights in Madrid
As we all know that Madrid is one of the beautiful cities in Spain, the city is also famous for bullfighting. Bullfighting has been part of the culture of Spain and of the people. When it comes to bullfighting, Andalusia and Madrid are the best places to watch out for this. People that are into bullfighting and knows the art of bullfighting goes to Madrid and Andalusia.
Madrid has the oldest bullring, this is the La Plaza de Toros de las Ventas, this was built in 1929 and since then it has been one of the venues for bullfights. This has been also called as one of the important bullrings in the world yet in Madrid there are two bullrings which are very important to them, the other one is the Vista Alegre. These bullrings can cater twenty five thousands people for the La Plaza de Toros de las Ventas and twenty thousands for Vista Alegre. The best time to watch these bullfights are on the months of May and June, especially on the Festival de San Isidro. This is the time where the best matadors have bullfights. For three weeks during these months, there are fights daily and starts seven in the evening and lasts for three hours. If you do want to watch one of these bullfights make sure you already have your tickets purchased ahead of time during these months, yet if you watch it off season, you can always purchase your tickets outside the bullring the day before or on the day of the bullfight.
