A Night of Passionate Flamenco in Madrid

I don’t have to read a book or watch the whole flamenco dance and appreciate this Spanish art. Awesome movement of the body and its parts together with the beating of the guitar or music…one could feel the excited beating of the heart as it get swayed by the festive air of the dance.

Flamenco is not only an art of dancing but a combination of music, song and dance and of history. It is an expression of freedom and love of dancing. A part of Spanish history; it was told so that Flamenco came from the gypsies and they were compelled to hide when the Moorish occupant wee driven away.

The dance itself is so forceful, graceful and powerful that it would take your breath away plus the music with an expression of pain and agony. The flamenco rhythm is a very interesting mixture of sound, beat and history.

A night of flamenco bar hopping in Spain is worth every penny you spent. High heeled, red clad man and women passionately dancing with the music will be embedded in your memory of Madrid visit.

Try visiting flamenco bars when ever you are in Madrid. Flamenco shows are shown in bars like Café de Chinitas in Calle torija. Try mixing with the locales and the tourist getting their feel of flamenco fever.

Another great flamenco bar is Casa Patas in Calle de Canizares where the neophyte and the masters of the flamenco dance share the glory of the flamenco stage.
