With the modern and old combination of infrastructure in Madrid, it makes the city looks unique and more appealing to every visitor coming to visit here. The heritage and the unique history Madrid has is another factor why this dynamic city has been rushed with millions of visitors from all over the world throughout the year. There is much to see and discover in Madrid, which makes it really interesting and unique. One of the most interesting places to visit in Madrid is their parks and gardens.

  • Casa de Campo—this is also called Calle Marques de Monistrol de Portugal, this place is appointed as the largest urban green spaces, that caters a number of recreational and sports facilities such like swimming pool, tennis courts, and lake for canoeing and rowing. Here you can also find the Madrid’s zoo, the Parque de Atracciones fun fair, cable car and more than 40 rides to experience.
  • Parque del Retiro—was once the hunting ground of Felipe II which is now open to the public for viewing. This park is always filled with roadway artist, puppet shows over the weekends and buskers. There are also available boats for visitors to hire and experience to row the lake; you can also opt to ride in their horse-drawn carriages.
  • Parque del Oeste—this park was originally designed by Cecilio Rodriguez during the early time of the 20th century. It is a tranquil and lovely wooded area that captures the interest of most of the visitors. The plants like bird, cedar, fir trees and among other attractions are some of the factors why this place magnets millions of travelers to drop by here.
