And of course I have every intention of perusing and searching on pictures of Madrid. I actually have a good number of picture collections which I intend on visiting on my few days of stay in the city.

I was actually impressed on how the leaders of Madrid made the city a very easy city to tour and travel. The present physical make up of Madrid is a proof of the past leaders’ intelligence and ingenuity in foreseeing the future and travel needs of would- be guest. I am actually referring to Paseo de la Castellana. It serves as a main road that dissects the whole city from North to South and it also serves as the entrance and exit of the city. Thus, making the Madrid travels much more convenient for travelers and guest.

Majority of the pictures I was rooting to visit in my travel to madrid is surprisingly located in this main vein of the city. You got to be careful though for the highway has fast speeding cars. Yet, the walking tour is very much compensated as you take a look of monuments, buildings, modern architecture, squares, sculptures and even some parks look alike. Spain Madrid travel actually is zeroed on this highway. I mean if you got a limited time and wanted to get a general glimpse of madrid then perhaps you got to pass this way and get your camera ready.

For your Madrid travels, Paseo de la Castellana can fulfill any travelers wish of seeing most of madird. Though, the highways name changes to several names like Pasel del prado or Paseo de Recoletos as it enters some well known tourist attraction. Yet, as a whole you can say that walking on Paseo de la Castellana from north to south will give you a very satisfying tour and faces of spain madrid travel.

Madrid summer travel is considered pleasant and more conducive to summer outings within the city than other cities in other parts of the world. The summer streets are alive with activity during the early part of the summer season which starts from June to the early July in this city. Everyone enjoys a warn night and a days touring galore with out the high temperature.

From July to the very end of the season that is August, some consider it already very unpleasant to be gallivanting around the Madrid streets in broad daylight. Though, tourist from New York, Houston, Washington, Philadelphia and Dallas to name a few may consider it still cool and cooler compared to these places.

Sightseeing early in the morning until before 12 is much recommended for those who can not bear the summer heat. Madrid Museums are also the best place to hit when the temperatures started to go up as high as 40 degrees centigrade. Museums are usually air conditioned and a much better place o stay and getting to know Madrid.

Madrid Terrazas is one of the most famous places to hang out while eating out. Famous people usually spend summer evenings in the terrazas in Pintor Rosales and Paseo de Castellana. Plaza de colon is great during summer. Terrazas kicks in the later part of the evening usually 9:30 to 10 pm so better make most of your day before going to enjoy a nights’ drink here.

Aqua Parks are also a great place to be when you hit Madrid City. Aquopolis Villanueva de la Canada opens from 12 pm to 8pm for only 13 to 16 euros and 9 euros per child is one water destination among many that dotted the city.

Madrid summer activities vary from the traditional tapa tours and gallivanting around malls and shopping centre.

El Rastro de Madrid or el rastro or most is the open air ‘flea market’. It is situated along Ribera de curtidores and Plaza de Cascorro and held during the year and every Sunday from 9 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon.

The Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum is the home of the finest art collection that only Madrid can boast of the collections from Picasso, Mondrian, Duccio, Carpaccio, Lucas Cranach, Van eyck, Van Gogh, Kirchner, Klee and Hopper.

Reina Sofia is also the home of the modern art. Expect a set of perfect modern art collection with Picasso’s with the most important piece. It is open from Mondays to Saturdays 10 in the morning to 9 in the evening and during Sundays from 10 in the am to 2:30 in the afternoon.

The Plaza Mayor is for me considered as a Spanish icon made during the period of Habsburgs. It is located just a few minutes away from Puerto del Sol. This is the place for bullfights, markets, public executions and soccer; in short it is the witness of many historical events and standing at the middle of the place or taking pictures of it is already a moment to remember about in your Madrid travel. Paseos del Prado and El Escorial are also must-see attractions.

These are the most important and significant places of interest in your Madrid travel.

I am searching and looking for something different this summer vacation and it suddenly hit into my mind the stunning beauty of Madrid City. I am confused and eager to discover and planning to take a travel to Madrid. Leaving something for an adventure memory could only be happened if I will take my great excursions to Madrid City. I am now looking for several tips in my itinerary of activities to make my Madrid travel visit very special. I am very much interested in Madrid attractions and Madrid history. I am a party goer and I used to party late at night and I just discovered that Madrid nightlife is very energetic and locals is very entertaining.

In my Madrid travel, I am looking forward to visit and must try to visit the Plaza Mayor Tapas which is one of the great historic settings that has certainly the best selection in all Madrid of Tapas and El Rastro is a line of twisting street that pass through the Madrid part with the oldest residential and this network streets surround the market. This El Rastro open air market in the early morning in Sunday has offered almost everything for everyone who takes a visit such as looking for a souvenir for your friends and family and something for yourself. And I am even interested to visit the Madrid museums that speak its history that will surely capture my senses. Madrid offers the largest collection of the world of Picasso’s work of the most popular Spanish artists. Another thing that interest me most is taking a Madrid cable car that will take you in the south side of Madrid and view the city from a most distinctive viewpoint. This is one of the convenient ways in reaching out the center of biggest park in Madrid, other Madrid attractions such as Madrid Masters, Theme Park and Zoo and Casa de Campo.

This is one of the interesting ways that I don’t want to miss to visit Madrid this summer vacation. I will make sure that I will take a chance to try to visit some other places aside from the attractions that I have mentions above. I know that I can do it now with my eagerness and determination.
