It is located in the heart of the peninsula right exactly in the center of the Castillan plain with 648 meters above the sea level.  <strong>Madrid </strong>has more and less 3 million of inhabitants living.  The city of Madrid is appointed as an international city, head office, business center Spanish parliament and the place for the Spanish Royal Family.  The city as well plays an important role in both the industrial and banking sectors.  But aside from that, Madrid is abounding with striking spots that allured millions of tourists all over the world.  One of the most interesting places to go in Madrid is their parks and gardens.  Such like the following.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong> The Casa de Campo. </strong>Casa de Campo is a large park with an estimated area of 4000 acres.  It is located on the Manzanares River which is to the west of Madrid.  You can enjoy rowboats here on the artificial lake.  You could also enjoy tennis and swimming within the park.  On the other hand, the Parque Zoologico or Zoo and the Parque de Attracciones—known as the large amusement park could be found in the southern part of Madrid.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong> The Jardin Botanico. </strong>This is a great botanical garden.  The garden boasted various kinds of plants and trees.  It was created by Carlos III in 1174.  Jardin Botanico is also known as the royal botanical garden.  You would also appreciate the doors and previous greenhouse which was designed by Juan Villanueva.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong> The Parque del Retiro. </strong>It was Felipe IV who ordered to build this park as a recreational area for the Royal people.  It was built in the 17th century and occupies 350 acres of land.  The park features about 15, 000 trees as well as significant monuments within the stunning gardens.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong> The Parque del Oeste. </strong>This is a park which could be found in the western part of the city.  It borders the Paseo del Pintor Rosales.  Within the border you will find the amazing lovely rose gardens and a variety of monuments.  The cable car of the Teleferico to the Campo will depart here.</p>
