Pelota

Pelota , also known as jai-alai, is a Basque ball game that is played with speediness wherein spectators bet on.
Developed from the handball game, the jai-alai is played inside an enclosed game court, which is called the fronton. The traditional style of Pelota is played using bare hands.
Most of the Basque regions, including Madrid , look forward to the Pelota season held around October to June and in specific days of March.
You may visit jai-alai courts at Calle Villanueva, Avenida Moratalaz or at the Fronton Madrid located at Calle del Doctor Cortezo .
