The Archeological Museum, which has experienced the passing through of the prehistoric era until the 20 th century, was only relocated to this spot in 1895. The backend of the Palacio de Bibliotecas y Museos is the entrance of this museum. You can find artworks such as paintings, sculptures including the Lady of Elche, a stone form that is known to be more than 2000 years old.

You can see sculptures of well-known historical and literary people along the path to the library. Although the labels are in Castilian, you can get a hold of catalogues that are in several languages of your choice.
