Museo Romantico - Romantic Museum
This elegant Madrid mansion is a large home of collections from the Romantic Period. Founded in 1924, the Museo Romantico was created by the Marques de Vega - Inclan .
Majority of the artworks focuses on 18 th century art, with details such as musical instruments, porcelain samples, furniture, numerous Gouyet paintings and other items that signify the Romantic era such as Isabelline s collection and Saint Gregory the Great by Goya.
The Romantic Museum is open every Tuesdays to Saturdays from 9 am until 3 pm. It is closed every Monday and for the entire month of August.
Although there is a reasonably priced admission fee, you can opt to visit the museum during Sundays, when it is free of charge, from 10 am until 2 pm.
You can visit the Museo Romantico by riding the metro going to the Tribunal station.
