Museo de America - America Museum

The Museo de America has been around since 1993. It has two floors of countless collection.
One of Madrid s top tourist attractions, the American Museum includes a large compilation of information, rare items and presentations from Pre-Columbian trivial objects and Hispanic ancient pieces from the parts of Latin America .
In addition to the many artifacts found in the American Museum, the favorite of tourists are the Columbia trumpets and skullcap helmets, the Trocortesiano Maya codex and the Quimbayas Treasures.
From Tuesdays until Saturdays, the Museo de America is open from 10 am until 3 pm. Although the museum has an admission fee, it is free of charge every Sundays - from 10 am until 2:30 pm.
You could visit the American Museum by riding the bus to Circular or getting off the Moncloa metro station.
