Museo Cerralbo - Cerralbo Museum
Marques de Cerralbo, when he died in 1922, donated his 19 th century palace to Madrid . The palace was filled with his private works of arts and the only condition with his donation was that the city should keep the place exactly as he left it.
Most of Cerralbo s works date back from 1884, with different kinds of art pieces including Japanese armours, sculptures, furniture, tapestries, artifacts and paintings of well-known artists such as The Ecstasy of St. Francis of Assisi by El Greco.
