Spring

Starts from mid March to May

Out of all the four seasons, spring in Madrid is the best time to visit the city. During these months, the days are longer and warmer. In the nighttime, cool breezes refresh everyone outdoors. Because of this, the nightlife becomes livelier as the warmth from the alcoholic drinks gets the blood flowing.

During the Holy Week, also called the Semana Santa, Madrid becomes quiet since masses of people go to the South for processions, where you could get your suntan as well.
Rain could also occur during this time of year and mornings until afternoons could become windy. Therefore, if you wish to spend the whole day outdoors, you should be prepared. Madrid spring nights could become chilly. It is advisable to wear a jacket or any rain gear.

The normal daily temperature during the month of:
- March ranges from 5 up to a maximum of 15
- April ranges from 7 up to a maximum of 18 and
- May ranges from 10 up to a maximum of 21
