Starts from September through November

Just like Madrid spring, autumn is a terrific time for a trip. Since everyone has just returned to school or work after summer vacation, the city s mood is different. The temperature becomes pleasant and most people are relieved from the extreme heat of the July sun.

Around November, there is the normal risk of a number of rain showers. Nevertheless, it is nothing a handy umbrella cannot handle. During this season, majority of the popular cultural activities are held.

If you wish to visit Madrid during these months, you should prepare clothes that will keep you warm. Be reminded that the later in autumn you visit, the colder it would get.

The normal daily temperature during the month of:
- September ranges from 14 up to a maximum of 25
- October ranges from 10 up to a maximum of 19 and
- November ranges from 5 up to a maximum of 13

Visiting Madrid temperature-wise depends on what kind of person you are. If you prefer the cold breeze, visit during winter. If you are after the intense heat, visit during mid-summer. Alternatively, if you want to relax with the pleasant climate, visit Madrid during autumn or spring.
